Privacy Policy
Schulte Table (schulte-table.com) is a free brain-training website run by George Imnaishvili ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information we collect, why, and the choices you have. We keep it short because we collect very little: there are no ads, no analytics trackers and we never sell data.
1. Playing without an account
You can play without signing in. In that case we do not store your results on our servers. Your browser keeps a few settings locally (see section 5).
2. Information we collect when you sign in
Sign-in is done with your Google account. From Google we receive and store:
- your name, e-mail address and profile picture;
- a technical account identifier from Google.
While you use the site we store:
- your game results (mode, time, errors, date) and daily-challenge, tournament and duel results;
- stars, star gifts, achievements, streaks and streak freezes, and the players you follow;
- your time zone (sent by your browser), so daily goals and streaks reset at your local midnight.
We do not receive your Google password and we do not access your Gmail, contacts or any other Google data.
3. How we use it
- to keep you signed in and save your progress, history and statistics;
- to run leaderboards, daily challenges, tournaments, duels, challenge links and streaks;
- to answer you if you write to us.
Public information: your name, profile picture and results appear on public leaderboards, and a challenge link you share shows your name and result to anyone who opens it. Your e-mail address is never shown publicly.
4. EyeControl (camera)
EyeControl is optional and only starts when you switch it on and allow camera access. The camera image is processed entirely inside your browser and is never sent to our servers or stored by us. Your calibration data is saved only in your browser's local storage on that device. To run the face model, your browser downloads model files from cdn.jsdelivr.net and storage.googleapis.com; these services see a normal download request (such as your IP address) but no camera data.
5. Cookies and local storage
- Session cookies set by our sign-in system, needed to keep you logged in. No advertising or tracking cookies.
- Local storage in your browser: your theme choice, an unfinished daily-challenge game, and EyeControl calibration. You can clear it at any time in your browser settings.
- The site can be installed as an app (PWA); your browser then caches site files for faster loading.
6. Third-party services
- Google Sign-In — authentication (Google Privacy Policy).
- Google Fonts — web fonts are loaded from Google's servers.
- YouTube — the video on the home page is loaded only after you click play; YouTube's own policies then apply.
- Hosting — our servers and database are run by our hosting provider, who processes data only to host the site.
Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We also use the YouTube Data API only to upload our own videos to the official Schulte Table YouTube channel; this does not access any visitor's data.
7. How long we keep data
We keep your account and results while your account exists. If you ask us to delete your account, we delete your profile and all results, stars and other records linked to it, except where we must keep something by law.
8. Your rights and choices
You can ask us to access, correct, export or delete your data by writing to mailgio@gmail.com from the e-mail address of your account. We reply within 30 days. You can also revoke the site's access to your Google account at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Depending on where you live (for example the EU/UK under the GDPR), you may also have the right to complain to your data protection authority.
9. Security
Connections to the site are encrypted (HTTPS), and access to our servers and database is restricted.
10. Children
The site is suitable for all ages, but signing in is intended for users who are old enough to have their own Google account under Google's rules in their country. Parents who believe their child has given us data can ask us to delete it.
11. Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date above. Important changes will be announced on the site.
